th and 9th May 2007After 100 school teams from all over the UK taking part in the knockout
stages the ISGA Schools Matchplay Tournament
15 Schools who had won in their region played in the Final at Hollins
Hall near Leeds.

The first day saw 40 to 50 mile an hour winds bearing in mind the course
is on the side of an exposed hill in the Yorkshire dales.

The competition was scratch stableford
Leading score after the first round was 39 points 3 under par from
David Gregory from Millfield. An amazing score considering the
conditions.
The Teachers were also competing for best stableford and best scratch
under handicap
During the first evening Trophies were presented to all the 15 regional
winners.

Day 2
The weather was calmer during the second day with a little rain at the
end of some of the competitors round.

All pupils were awarded medals for reaching the finals
